Dr. Wali is a seasoned executive with 22 years of experience in the gas industry, specializing in strategic management, business development, and leadership. He holds a Doctorate in Business Administration in Strategic Management from United States International University and an MBA in Project Management from Makerere University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Wali has held senior positions across East Africa, leading initiatives in the gas industry, clean energy, and international marketing. His expertise spans market expansion, product commercialization, and corporate transformation.

Since January 2021, Dr. Wali has been serving as CEO of Hewatele Limited, where he oversees strategy execution, leadership development, and business growth. His extensive industry experience and visionary leadership continue to drive impactful change in East Africa’s business landscape.

Joan is the current Chief Finance Officer since September 2023. She leads the finance function providing strategic fundraising efforts, finance management, risk and compliance management. She started her career in the gas industry prior to joining Hewatele and progressed over the years to serve in various capacities.

Her extensive experience covers various industries including manufacturing, banking, investments and logistics in both public and private sectors. As a change catalyst, she has contributed to providing financial guidance, stakeholder management, risk and compliance management. Joan is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and a member of Institute of Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (ICPAK).

She previously served as a Board Member to the Association of Women Accountants of Kenya (AWAK) and remains an active member to date. She holds a degree in Masters of Science in Finance and Investments from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Accounting option) from Kenyatta University.

Ann is the current Human Resources Manager since July 2024. She is an experienced human resource professional with over 9+ years of expertise in human resources management, employee relations, and organizational development.

She has a proven track record in implementing effective HR strategies, improving employee engagement, and fostering a positive workplace culture. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kenya Methodist university, a Higher National Diploma in Human Resource Management, and a Diploma in Personnel Management from Kenya Railway Institute.

Ann is a licensed HR practitioner and an active member of IHRM Kenya.

Rita Wairimu Ndonye, BSc. IBA, MBA, MSHE is the head of safety, health, environmental and quality since January 2023. She is a distinguished and experienced Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) management practitioner and trainer, with over 25 years of experience in the medical gas manufacturing and service industry both in the private and public sector.

A certified occupational safety and health and environmental management expert, she has played a crucial role in shaping organizational safety policies, training professionals, and implementing ISO management systems across multiple industries. Ms. Ndonye holds a Master of Safety, Health, and Environment from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, and an MBA from USIU-Africa.

She is a certified lead auditor and expert, and has contributed extensively to safety and environmental policies across East Africa.

Engineer Joanes Muga is the Chief technology Officer since Jan 2023. He is a seasoned mechanical engineer and project management specialist with over three decades of experience in engineering design, production operations, and gas systems infrastructure.

With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Business Management from the University of Nairobi, he has built an impressive career overseeing complex industrial and medical gas projects across Kenya, Tanzania, and East Africa.

Joanes leads strategic initiatives in facility development, production optimization, and medical gas pipeline installations. With a deep understanding of medical gas infrastructure, Joanes has played a key role in major hospital projects across East Africa.

Since September 2023, Opot Hannington (Tony) has served as the Business Development Manager, bringing a decade of specialized experience in the medical and industrial gas sector.

His expertise spans strategic business planning, market research and intelligence, client acquisition, and portfolio management, with a deep understanding of the stringent quality standards required by healthcare facilities and industries across various sectors.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business Administration from the United States International University and is a member of the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK).
